Made a quick stop at Catalina state park in my way home from Phoenix on Saturday night. It was a crisp 30 degrees Fahrenheit and I was treated to the songs of howling coyotes in the distance.
Went for a short hike at lunch as the snow melted. The whole desert was hypnotically crackling in all directions. This photo is composed of 6 exposures. Two HDR brackets focus stacked. Probably overkill, but I love how this turned out.
